I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. the location was absolutely breathtaking. Situated by a tranquil lake and nestled between the most beautiful mountains, it was a true paradise. The views from the rooms were absolutely stunning, especially the ones with a fantastic view towards Gaustatoppen. I was lucky enough to have a room with a bath and balcony, which allowed me to take in the picturesque scenery anytime I wanted. Another great aspect was the breakfast provided. There was a variety of delicious foods available and the option to pack a lunch for my hikes, which was very convenient.
All was fantastic, nothing to complain about!

During my recent Xmas vacation at a hotel nestled in the mountains, I had a great time. the staff were attentive and friendly, offering great local recommendations without being prompted. the self, check, in process was also smooth and hassle, free. What impressed me the most was the location of the hotel, providing easy access to the nearby mountain top and scenic views. my free room upgrade offered a private bathroom and a breathtaking winter wonderland view.
the reception opening times were different from what was advertised, making it hard for me to plan my day.

The location was exceptional, surrounded by beautiful mountains and lakes. The shared kitchen was well-equipped, and there was a full range of cooking utensils available. There was a sauna and a drying room for clothes, which came in handy after a long and wet hike.
Although the curtains were light-colored, they couldn't keep out the sunlight during the summer months, making it challenging to sleep for long hours. ordering meals required prior notification, even for vegetarians.
